Introduction

Create graphics with your favorite painting program, and then convert them into icon files with Frontbase Image To Icon.

Frontbase Image To Icon supports ICO, BMP, GIF, JPG, PCX, PNG, RAS, and TGA formats. You can change the dimensions and the color depths of the images when you convert them. You can also set pixels to transparent, or if the image has a color depth of 32 BPP (Windows XP icon format), you can set an alpha value for each pixel (see About transparency and alpha). You can adjust the brightness, contrast and colors of the images.

Frontbase Image To Icon has also an own menu in the right mouse button menu in Windows Explorer (see Right Mouse Button Menu in Windows Explorer). There you can easily convert images from ICO, BMP, GIF, JPG, PCX, PNG, RAS, TGA to ICO, BMP, JPG, PCX, PNG, RAS, TGA.
